Twin&Earth present at Low Carbon industry event

Bywater hosted a busy City Agents CPD session in collaboration with Stora Enso, Twin and Earth Ltd, Ingleby Trice LLP and Cushman & Wakefield.

Matt Cotton from sustainability consultant, Twin and Earth took the audience on a deep dive into Embodied Carbon, Operational Carbon and low carbon technologies, and how these important themes are shaping the future of property development and the real estate sector. This was followed by Gareth Mason from timber supplier, Stora Enso’s summary of their activities in the production of mass timber for use in construction, including the process involved in CLT production and the sustainable management of their forests.

Bringing these elements together, Theodore Michell from Bywater finished with a summary of how these themes are brought together at our Paradise project in a live case study of Mass Timber construction in action and how we are setting a new benchmark in low-carbon development.
